Hi Nick et al.
I shall attend the call next week, from a hopefully quiet room in the
hospital.
Looking forwards,

Hi all,
I won't be able to make it tonight and next few ones due to an titanium man
upgrade in hospital just now.
I may join the next online Friday evening chat, whenever that may be.
Have a great evening,
Wouter

Hello Everyone.
You probably know but we have applied for participatory budget funds for some equipment for renewable energy equipment.
Vote at https://acvo.org.uk/vote/ if you live in Aberdeen you can vote for 10 projects, ours is listed under 57North Hacklab.
The Black Cat Coop (Krakatoa) is also trying to raise funds for insulation for the building above, if you could throw a vote for them also.
Thank you and if you can please pass please pass it on to others in Aberdeen.

I'll be on, I haven't had a job with a Christmas thing for 9 years so
I'll just be about.

Hiya
We were trying to do some laser cutting yesterday with the Trotec laser
cutter. Unfortunately it seems to not really be working just now. I last
did some etching/cutting back at the start of October, but I think it
wasn't working a week or so ago either.
So I was just wondering if anyone has used it successfully in October or
November? If anyone noticed anything different about it or it's software
set-up. If so, please reply & let me know.
It seems to have an issue with the laser not really firing. Kev and I
checked all the obvious things yesterday, with no luck.
Anyway, no trauma, just a quick email to say it's not really working, and
if anyone had thoughts or ideas about it.
Probably best if no-one tinkers with it, or tries to use it, till we've had
a bit of time to try to figure it out.
It's got a wiki page at
https://wiki.57north.org.uk/doku.php?id=projects:laser_cutter
Cheers
Andy
Hey all,
I will be in today as well. My aim is to do some reading up methods to bike
hub dynamos and the conversion of the output (AC 6V 3W) to a power bank.
This seems to be quite a faf, and commercial available solutions in the
bike world are not within my budget...(or I am just too stingy ;-) )
See you tonight.

Hello Everyone
I'll be streaming from Krakatoa on an Owncast instance, from https://stream.krakatoa.bar. If you like some Punk music and can definately tune in, also tell me is you have any issues.
Owncast seems to have good integration with TV's so if anyone wants try it on that.
