Hey all,
I will be in this evening from about 730, driving. I can offer a ride to
anyone needing lift, leaving from Northfield/Mastrick areas of town around
1930. Return ride would be to George Street area by 915-930pm.
Cheerio,
Wouter

hey all,
I am posting this on behalf of my partner, who just started a conversion
masters in Data Science at RGU. She is wondering if anyone can recommend
a free/opensource tool/software to design conceptual and logical
database schema. she is fed up with drawing them up on a paper.
Thanks,
Wouter

Great news about wifi.
I'll be down to try and get files onto a computer via serial.

Howdy y'all,
This week sees the WMCC at Curl Aberdeen, Lang Stracht.
There'll be some good curling and some very questionable curling on show from tomorrow until next weekend!
Take a peek at the schedule!

Entry is free and there's a bar with everything from lemon and ginger tea to beers in the (warm) lounge.

Hiya
I'll be in around 7pm I think. After using the band-saw last week, and it
being kinda ok, I'm gonna try sort out the bed, and maybe make a
right-angle-frame-thing.
Might do some more Laser-ing too, as that was fun last week :)
Maybe also looking at laptops on the ever terrible CEX and thinking about
going to DroidCon in London in 2 weeks.
See you there

Hello Hackers,
57North has been hosting a FreeBSD hackathon this week.
This evening we are going to have a small beer and pizza party at the
hackerspace. If you are around when we order pizza we'll get enough to
include you, as a bit of a thank you to the hackerspace for offering us
somewhere to sit and write more bugs^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H code.
Lets say we'll order about 7. There is also some beer and if you bring
some more we'll have too much and it'll be a great evening.
We are here today so it would be great for our guests to meet some more
members responsible for the space.

Hi
I'll be in around 7pm, will be tinkering with the laser cutter I
think, gonna test it out on some door name plates, just to try a small
thing first.
See you there :)

Hey
It's Tuesday again, so Open Eve at 57 North Hacklab.
I'll be in from around 7pm, let us know if you're coming in too, or
what you've got planned, if you like.
We're at...
Suite H
Kettock Lodge
Innovation Park
Campus Two
Bridge of Don
Aberdeen AB22 8GU
...just push the "H" button by the front door, and someone will come let you in.
I was gonna have one last crack at wrangling the large black metal
bits into something useful, before it gets condemned to recycling.
I'll also try read up some more about the Laser cutter. Perhaps if I
can bear the taste of Zuk/Meta flavour vomit in my mouth, I might
write this Instagram API widget that I've been putting off doing for
ages.
Anyway, see you there if you're coming in.
Andy
Hello All
I mentioned The Alt' freshers fair at the Dunbar hall this weekend.
I thought It'd be good, be there we may meet some new members, if any is interested in helping we could do with some flyers and if anyone wants to come to the even to be at the stall. I'll be about but I'll also be helping with other stalls.
Anyone up for helping?
Midder.
Does anyone/the space have a router I can borrow as soon as possible?
I've been without broadband for a month but the line is good. The
problem either lies with the router from the ISP, which could take a
week or two to replace, OR it could be the PPPoE credentials from my
network are bad. The latter is a quick fix if the ISP do their job,
the former kinda isn't.
Can anyone lend me a spare router to see if my router is the problem pls?
Best,
Johnny
