Just a brief message and reminder, that the Scottish Maps Forum is hosting
a free talk by Humphrey Welfare next Thursday 1 September at 17.00.

The talk is in connection with Humphrey’s new biography - General William
Roy, 1726-1790: Father of the Ordnance Survey. This will be published next
week too by Edinburgh University Press:
