Does anyone/the space have a router I can borrow as soon as possible?
I've been without broadband for a month but the line is good. The
problem either lies with the router from the ISP, which could take a
week or two to replace, OR it could be the PPPoE credentials from my
network are bad. The latter is a quick fix if the ISP do their job,
the former kinda isn't.
Can anyone lend me a spare router to see if my router is the problem pls?

I might have a TP Link thing, but you’d need a separate modem (do they still give you the
openreach box?)

It's just a dsl connection I have, it's not fibre to the premises

Yeah you used to get a box that converted the telephone line into Ethernet and then you
plugged that into the router. I think new installations just have the telephone jack going
into the router though. If you don’t have a modem then my router wouldn’t help you.

I've got several ADSL routers going spare, but modern (non-fibre)
broadband uses VDSL and these old ADSL routers won't work. Is it
possible that your ISP has upgraded your service from ADSL to VDSL?
If so, your old router would stop working...

I have a spare Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub, model THG300. It's about 2 years old,
never used, still in original box.. Happy to give it to, if that's the
type of modem/router you are after.
