The one thing I plan to do this eve is give inductions to the New laser cutter, I had it working last Tuesday and will be showing people how to use it, the mare people who want to learn the better. looking for a small form factor graphics card PCI-e 2.0 -3.0

Hey all, I just got myself a windows desktop machine to connect to the CNC router of Ebay, for a bargain. Unfortunately the graphics card is underpowered and I am looking for a small form factor graphics card to fit in the case, size 17cm by 8cm (or there abouts). Has anyone got any old cards lingering about, gathering dust and that are looking for a new home. I will happily take it if its PCI express 2 or 3 and can return the favour with some Belgian beers. Notice of Board Meeting

Hi All, I am calling a board meeting for the 26th July 2022 to be held at 20:00 in the space. This is for the purpose of finding a way to resolve our ongoing issues with access to the bank account. Options available are to put more effort into RBS or to open a different account that is a better fit for the way we wish to use it. HP Pavilion dm4 laptop

Hi, Kevin. I'm coming into Aberdeen today (Thu) and I can drop off the laptop I offered to give Vicky at the HackSpace on Tue night if you want? I can take it to the Space or drop it off at yours if you'll be in? The only problem with it is that the secondary Radeon GPU is faulty and it won't run for long unless you blacklist the "radeon" module. It's got Ubuntu-MATE 20.04 on it with the "radeon" module backlisted and works fine: It's an Intel core-i5 with 8GiB RAM and a very nice machine.
