Once again it is Tuesday, I thought we agreed this wouldn't keep happening?
If you haven't heard (but yet are somehow subscribed to our mailing list!), we are the hackerspace in Aberdeen 57 North Hacklab. Until we can figure out how to stop we have an open night each Tuesday, it is mostly a social meet up.

The Coop I work for, Black Cat, are trying to get transition funding for Insulation and need people in the NE to vote please vote and share.
Black Cat is the worker cooperative, who operate the grassroots music venue Krakatoa, not for profit.
We are converting the 3 floors above Krakatoa to incorporate 8 double rooms and a sustainable vegetarian cafe, all of which will operate not-for-profit. This is aimed at providing low-cost B&B accommodation for touring musicians, booked to perform at Krakatoa and other local music venues.
This is projected to deliver a 90% reduction in energy costs over a conventional build, resulting in a significantly larger surplus that will be reinvested into enhancing the local grassroots music scene.

As you have probably noticed we have an A0 plotter in the hackerspace.
Unfortunately, is it currently inoperable due to a faulty printhead, a Canon PF-04.
How would people feel about the hackerspace using its funds to purchase a new printhead to get this plotter working?

Hi All,
We used to have group orders with RS for things that didn't meet the threshold for free delivery. I am going to be making an RS order soon and if anyone would like to add anything to that order, please let me know and I will make the order arrive at space. Keep in mind that it might not arrive in time for this Tuesday, but perhaps the following Tuesday. You can pay for the order with cash or BACS.
I am also still overrun with coffee beans and if anyone would like some coffee beans these are £6/bag (250g) with possible discounts for 3 or more bags.

if it's new to you.
There is loads of parking for cars, or grab the number 1 bus, which drops
off right by the door or the number 19, which stops just a short walk away.
