He has been an associate editor and reporter with the award-winning website The Electronic Intifada for more than a decade. He spent two years living under Israeli occupation in the West Bank. In an electrifying account, as meticulously researched as it is fast-paced, Winstanley shows how Labour's anti-Semitism crisis was manufactured by those who feared Jeremy Corbyn's support for the Palestinian cause and a broad progressive agenda. We will have a speaker at Aberdeen Trades Council's St Andrews Day anti-racist, anti-fascist demonstration. Starting at 12noon in Castlegate. Bring your Palestine flags and banners! We'll meet at 2pm at Union Terrace Gardens again for our Stand with Gaza demonstration, more details to follow. And there'll also be several SPSC speakers at this music fundraiser being held at Musical Vision (67-69 Nelson Street) from 4pm. Hello all The Radical Cafe is on again this Saturday, 21st October, 12-2, in the Social Centre with the usual coffee, treats and plotting. All welcome. Scottish Palestinian Solidarity Campaign: Stand With Gaza: Saturday, 21st October, 2pm, St Nicholas Square. The demo is endorsed by Aberdeen Trades Union Council, CND North East, and Aberdeen Social Centre. As you may be aware there was an arrest after the recent SPSC rally. This has spurred Aberdeen Social Centre to asking our friends from the Scottish Community Activist Legal Project (SCALP) if they would provide some more Legal Observer and Know your Rights training for folk in Aberdeen. We also have a vinyl cutter and a printer, so if you have designs/flyers/leaflets we can cut/print them out.
