Based upon my networking journey at home I have a couple of
thoughts/questions:
* Does the hackspace need vlans and various things? I want to say the
network was just simplified as no-one knew how it all worked(?)
* What about a linux/*BSD box instead? Probably there's a suitable one
about, plus a NIC. Either install an appliance or go vanilla.
