Hi,
We should accept that if it's cheaper for us to buy a new printer than fix the
existing one, no sane member is going to take the old one, and any plan to replace it
should include planning for the prompt disposal of the existing one. It's lovely to
think about repairing and upcycling but if we've already decided it's not
economical we should act accordingly and not just keep it around the space forever.

offered up to members to take and fix up themselves if they wanted? To
postpone landfill.
I think either is fine but the first requires time and effort by someone...
