[57north-discuss] Northern lights this afternoon/evening

Hi Looking at the Aurora forecast... https://aurorawatch.lancs.ac.uk/ ...and the weather... https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2657832 ...it looks like this afternoon and evening might be good for Aurora spotting, perhaps between 17:00 and 18:00. With sunset being 16:13, clear skies between 16:00 and 18:00 and peak Aurora between 17:00 and 18:00, maybe we'll be in luck. As someone who's probably* never seen the northern lights, any suggestions on where to go near Aberdeen, or tips? Also, for the sake of kids' expectation management, if it looks like it does in photos, to the naked eye?
