News from Wed 17-Sep-2025
This weekend we have a lot on, with the start of Climate Week North East, Saturday will see Envirolution at Seaton Park. Along with a host of events through the week. More into at https://nescan.org/envirolution-aberdeen-2025/ and https://climateweeknortheast.org/.
Also In the Evening on Saturday Mara Coop has a Ceilidh fundraiser see below for details.
On a more serious note and with the events in London last week, we are still seeing far-right, racist protests organised in Aberdeen, There is more need than ever to challenge this, and make sure we send a message that this will not be tolerated in here. There is an urged call out for Thursday see below.

Our weekly Radical Cafe, a space to meet and build those connections with local activists, come along for convivial chat, a look at the new books in the swap and shop, and meet other people active in the city.
We are also Saddened to hear of the passing of Steven from the Vegan Bay Bakery who supported us so well with cakes every week, our hearts go out to his family, and we'll greatly miss the butteries.
So until we source a new supply the cafe will be asking for home-bakes, you can bring butteries, cakes or whatever else you can rustle up for the overworked activists of Aberdeen.
