Thursday 14th September: Aberdeen Housing Rights Defenders Academy 2023.

Shelter Scotland believes that good quality social housing that people can choose to live in is the foundation of a society with social justice at it's heart. We want everyone in Scotland to be equipped with the skills and the tools that they need to fight for better housing and conditions. That's why, starting on Thursday 14th September, Shelter Scotland's community organising unit will be running the Housing Rights Defenders Academy in Aberdeen. This is a series of six weekly sessions, designed to equip communities with the skills they need to campaign on the housing issues that matter to them. Each sessions will be around 90 minutes, and will be delivered at an accessible location in Aberdeen city centre. Saturday 16th September: Alternative Freshers' Fair. Dunbar Hall, Old Aberdeen. 11-4. This is building and we already have 21 groups signed up for stalls!
