Aberdeen's Festival of Culture and Creativity in Solidarity with Palestine

The people of Aberdeen have shown a huge amount of support and solidarity with Palestine in recent months, coming out every week to demonstrations and protests to show their anger.

This festival is a chance to explore the array of ways, through culture and creativity, we can show solidarity with Palestine. Events will be taking place across four venues - they are all free to access but we'll be collecting donations for the Plant a Tree in Palestine project across all events.

Programme:

6-7pm, Friday, February 23rd: Vigil and creative activities for healthcare workers @ Medical Lecture Theatre, ARI (Aberdeen Healthcare Workers for Peace)

11am-1pm, Saturday, February 24th: Barclays protest and placard making @ 153 Union Street (outdoors)

1pm, Saturday, February 24th: Palestine Cafe, with Palestinian food and drinks @ Aberdeen Trades Council, 22a Adelphi (Aberdeen Social Centre)

4-6pm, Saturday, February 24th: Family-friendly Workbook-making @105 Union Street (Cat's Cradle)

2-4pm, Sunday, February 25th: Kites in solidarity: Family-friendly kite making workshop @ Aberdeen Arts Centre

5-7pm, Sunday, February 25th: Screening in solidarity: an evening of Palestinian short films @ Aberdeen Arts Centre
